About
Education and Training:
I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from PGSP-Stanford University Consortium in 2011. During the time of my pre-doctoral training I completed practica at the Palo Alto VA, Hume Center, and St. Mary’s Hospital Pediatric Neuropsychology Program. In addition, I completed an APA accredited internship at the nationally recognized Help Group and received post-doctoral training as a psychological assistant at the Multi-Disciplinary Assessment Clinic at San Francisco General Hospital.
Prior to becoming a psychologist, I worked as an educational therapist helping individuals with learning and social skill deficits. My bachelor’s degree is from Pitzer College in Claremont, California.
Life-Long Learning
I continue to further my education by attending conferences on a regular basis to learn about new developments in the understanding of mental health and well-being. The field of the science of well being is growing every day. Our understanding of the functioning of the human brain, mind, emotion and health is providing new techniques and treatments to enhance overall well-being. I continue to further my education in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness Practices.
